Rebecca Mchutchison

Growing up in a musical environment, Rebecca Jane started playing clarinet at a young age, followed by piano, saxophone and singing.
Being influenced by a wide range of musical styles paved the way for Rebecca to perform pop, rock, jazz, funk, fusion, soul and world music.
For over 25 years, Rebecca has performed extensively in bands, duos and as a soloist, often working as a session musician: This has included many festivals, corporate events, clubs, touring and recording.

After many years performing, Rebecca started to spend more time on song writing, composing and recording, collaborating on many original music projects and producing a CD of her original compositions.
Over the years, Rebecca also continued developing her musical palette through tertiary studies in music, audio and composition, in addition to taking on teaching work.
